Biography

Professor Deng is a Postdoctoral fellow of the Sanit-Louis Medical School of the University of Paris, France (Professor E-Gluckman, Academician of the French Academy of Sciences, Associate Research Fellow, Department of Surgery, University of Utah Medical School, Senior Visiting Scholar, Department of Orthopaedics, Hopkins University Hospital, USA. Deputy Director of the Society of Physiology and Immunology, National Natural Science Foundation, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Fund, Beijing Natural Science and other fund review experts. He is the former Director of the Department of Pathophysiology, Department of Pathophysiology, Medical College of Sun Yat-sen University, and Deputy Director of the Center for Translational Medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.

He has presided over 5 National Natural Science Fund projects and 15 other provincial and ministerial level projects and has published more than 100 papers. As a communication author, he has published more than 40 SCI papers with a total impact factor of more than 140 points. Professor Deng has obtained two invention patents. He was awarded six national and provincial scientific research awards. In 1998, he was awarded the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (mainly completed person). In 2004, he won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education. Professor Deng in charge won the second prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award in 2002 and won the second prize of Nanzhou Excellent Paper Innovation in 2007. In 2010, he was awarded the most prize by Brain Research. He is the editor-in-chief of "Introduction to Medical Research" and "Pathophysiology". He also takes parts in Zhonghua Medical Awards Jury and Guangdong Science and Technology Awards Judge penal.

Professor Deng’s research interests include stem cell transplantation for the treatment of nerve damage, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and rheumatism, basic and clinical application of orthopedics and nerve repairment.
