长期从事骨科基础与临床、骨科生物材料的相关研究工作。2016-2018年在瑞士AO国际骨科内固定研究院从事骨科基础研究2年。作为课题负责人主持包括国家自然科学基金区域联合重点项目等骨科退变性疾病、骨修复材料相关课题17项,作为子课题负责人参与国家重点研发计划1项,作为主要研究人员参与了973课题、国家自然科学基金重点项目等骨科基础研究相关课题5项。尤其是作为课题负责人的骨科修复材料动态力学培养方向于 2023年获得瑞士A0 foundation约380万人民币的科研资助。
在上述研究工作积累下,在中山大学附属第七医院、广东省骨科学重点实验室建立了完善的动态力学培养系统、类器官制备平台、单细胞测序与分析平台;探索了应激与稳态维持相关基因调控骨形成的基因表达及其表观遗传学变化规律;提出以功能为导向的类器官的构建,并在此过程中发现动态力学能调节其免疫微环境。发表SCI论文70余篇,第一作者或通讯作者51篇。申请国家发明专利6项,公开5项,授权2项。主导完成Ⅱ类医疗器械注册成功4项。担任国际华人骨研协会(ICMRS)终身会员,中国医师协会骨科医师分会骨科基础工作委员会委员,SICOT中国部骨科基础学会第一届委员会委员,中国生理学会基质生物学分会青年学组委员,中国生物材料学会医用金属材料分会青年工作委员会委员
