Our Vision

The Seventh Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University has a comprehensive vision of collaboration and exchange in globalization. This vision also corresponds to the goal of the Seventh Affiliated Hospital to become recognised and influential at home and abroad. The Hospital therefore has been proactively involved in collaboration and exchange with international partners and building up rapport relationships. These taken actions will enhance the Hospital’s competence in the ‘Trinity’ that clinical practice, medical education and scientific research can gain continuous development reciprocally.

Maintaining an Atmosphere that Stimulates Better Scientific Research

For promptly creating an academic atmosphere in the Hospital, the Scientific Research and International Exchange Department proactively invites well-known national and international experts and scholars for visiting and academic exchanges. More than 40 domestic and foreign scholars have visited the Hospital for academic exchanges since 9th March 2017.

Regarding academic exchange, many international clinical, medical and research experts will be invited to participate in the 'Master Lecture'. a high-level academic exchange will be held every second month. The event has attracted lots of visitors, audience and social media. at these events, each expert generously brings and shares their insight from either scientific research or clinical work, which imparts the most advanced knowledge in the academic world and creates an excellent academic atmosphere. At the same time, such exchanges can tremendously benefit the educational and scientific research activities conducted in the Hospital and widen the channels for better local and international collaboration.
