DERMATOVENEROLOGY

The Department of Dermatology of the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University is a comprehensive developmental specialty integrating clinical care, research and education. There are 11 doctors on staff, including 1 chief physician, 2 attending physicians and 8 residents. We treat skin diseases and sexually transmitted diseases. The Department also offers cosmetic treatments like fruit acid rejuvenation, drug mask synthesis therapy, photorejuvenation and ecchymosis, laser hair removal, laser wrinkle removal, and skin surgery programs such as surgical resection of benign and malignant tumors, keloid resection, dilator flap, local flap grafting skin grafting, hair transplantation, underarm odor minimally invasive surgery, vitiligo epidermal grafting, and skin ulcer repair.

The department offers an extensive range of treatments and services as follows:

1. Laser treatment: pigmented skin diseases (nevus of Ota, freckles, secure-au-lait-spots, nevus fuscocaeruleus zygomaticus, etc.), vascular skin diseases (hemangioma, port wine stains, spider mites, telangiectasia, etc.), acne scars and so on.

2. Dermatologic surgery: extended resection of malignant tumors + flap transfer repair, benign tumor resection, hair transplantation, keloid resection + dilator flap, underarm odor minimally invasive surgery, vitiligo epidermal grafting, Skin ulcers (diabetic foot, hemorrhoids, burns, burns, etc.) repair surgery, skin grafting, rosacea nasal abrasion, scar-free skin resurfacing and so on.

3. Aesthetic skin care: laser hair removal, laser wrinkle skin rejuvenation, laser freckle whitening, injection beauty, skin tattoo, line carving, double eyelid surgery, eye bag surgery, pigmented nevus cosmetic resection, water light needle, etc.

4. Diagnosis and treatment of severe skin diseases such as bullous skin disease (pemphoster, bullous pemphigoid, herpes-like dermatitis, etc.), connective tissue disease (systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, dermatomyositis), severe drug eruption, psoriasis and urticaria.

5. Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases: photodynamic, laser, cryotherapy.

6. Allergen detection: allergen-specific IgE antibody detection (venous blood), food intolerance test (fingertip blood), allergen intradermal test, patch test.
